Air Jordan Retro VI “Maroon” releasing in Holiday 2013.
Plenty of shoes like the Grape 5’s, Aqua 8’s, Royal 1’s, and the original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 are all slated for next year. Seems like Jordan Brand is giving what the people have been asking for these past few years, but is that a good thing or bad?
Obviously when you retro an original color like the Grape 5’s, the original value of it goes down. Majority of the new folks would rather buy the new release for retail instea of paying resell on the older model. But it still contains that high sentimental value given that it’s the original release. Now shoes like the Air Jordan Aqua 8, which only retroed once in 2007, is being released again next year in 2013. But it was only 6 years ago since it last came out?
So where do you stand? You like Jordan Brand just spoiling the masses or do you want classics to remain untouched? Let us know what you think.
